19th-century Chatellerault Folding Knife
Chattelrault folding knife, 4-sided blade with one flat side extending about halfway along its length and a false back edge on top. Nickel silver bolster with a guard and a fishtail bolster at the end of the handle. The spring is perfectly firm, and the blade is released by a lever.
Handle scales made of high-quality animal material, riveted with 4 brass rivets.
One of the scales bears a rectangular cartouche.
