First pocketknife — Known as the "lady's" pocketknife — 5 mechanisms: This small, multi-functional pocketknife consists of two blades, a toothpick, a nail file, and a pair of scissors. The genuine mother-of-pearl handle has a beautiful antique patina. A maker's mark is visible on the blade: a barrel surmounted by a cross, a characteristic mark of a workshop in Thiers (Puy-de-Dôme), the historical cradle of French cutlery. Dimensions when closed: 7 x 1.5 cm.

Second pocketknife — Known as the "gentleman's" pocketknife — 3 mechanisms: This understated and elegant pocketknife is equipped with two blades and a corkscrew. The genuine mother-of-pearl handle matches the first. No visible markings.
