Art Nouveau Convertible Brooch-pendant, 18-karat Yellow Gold, Ruby, Fine Pearl, And Roses
An antique Art Nouveau brooch-pendant, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold. Its elegant openwork design features large, supple, and symmetrical curves, characteristic of the style around 1900. The piece is richly set with 75 rose-cut diamonds, complemented by 5 old-cut diamonds placed at the tips of the scrolls. At the center sits a round cabochon ruby of a beautiful deep red hue, surrounded by a crown of diamonds. The lower portion is extended by a delicate baroque pearl, with a soft luster and a pear shape, itself accented by a diamond.
This particularly ingenious piece of jewelry is versatile: its removable clasp allows it to be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.
