RUSSIAN WORK, late 19th – early 20th century.
Circular pendant/locket in gilt silver centered with a malachite cabochon, adorned with an applied gilt metal motif depicting the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle. The foliage-chased border is surmounted by a ribbon knot centered with a red cabochon stone forming a bail with a suspension ring.
Standard mark “925” and goldsmith’s mark in a barrel-shaped cartouche on the reverse.
