19th-century Porquier-beau Earthenware Dish

This large wall panel, made of glazed and polychrome earthenware, comes from the famous Porquier-Beau pottery in Quimper and dates from the late 19th century (around 1880)
- A painted relief depicting Mont-Saint-Michel, with a side cartouche bearing the inscription “Mont St. Michel” and a sculpted coat of arms showing the Archangel Saint Michael slaying the dragon. [1, 2]
- A marli with cut corners adorned with a stylized frieze of heart motifs and black lines on a beige-orange background, typical of the artistic production of this Quimper factory at the time.
