18th-century Double Front Door With Transom Window

A rare double entry door topped by a transom with small panes, adorned in the center with an eagle with outstretched wings.
The door leaves feature fully carved “gendarme’s hat” paneling and are adorned at the top with open leaves, shells, mascarons, chadron motifs, or drapery—possibly indicating that this was an inn door.
The door jamb is also fully decorated and carved.
The residence from which it comes dates from 1788 in the Hautes-Pyrénées, France.
Original hinges, door knocker, and hardware.
