A very beautiful carved walnut chest in the Renaissance style, featuring a particularly ornate architectural front.
The front is organized around three panels separated by carved pilasters.
The two large side panels are adorned with geometric motifs in relief, central rosettes, and foliage motifs.
The narrower central panel houses the lock and is set within a lavishly carved frame.
The side panels are decorated with mascarons, foliage, and stylized motifs, while the lower section features a scalloped crossbar punctuated by carved corbels.
The entire piece rests on four straight legs.
The top panel lifts up to reveal a spacious storage compartment.
Features an internal metal locking mechanism.
The walnut’s beautiful, warm patina and high decorative quality make this chest a piece of character.
