Iron Box Known As "nuremberg" XVII
Skirted model, polychrome painted South Germany, decorated with ruffles on the lid, the sides and the back. On the front, a meal scene with a man on the left and a woman on the right, on the table are victuals. On the far left, a servant brings a garnished dish. Has a key which is not original but which allows the operation of the lock. The top has kept the lock cover (after having pulled it backwards, rotate it to access the entrance of the lock), 2 iron handles on the sides, under the lid, lock mechanism
