Set Of 4 Wine Glasses By Cristallerie De Saint Louis, Late 19th Century
A set of 4 blown and cut crystal stemmed glasses from the prestigious Cristallerie de Saint-Louis, perfectly exemplifying the excellence of French tableware. This is the famous Micado model. The inverted conical bowl features a sumptuous engraved Rocaille-inspired design, adorned with foliage, volutes, and floral motifs delicately accented with fine gold. A delicate gold line also accentuates the rim and the base of the stem. The blown stem features an elegant central section with beveled sides and carved knots, offering an excellent grip and beautifully capturing the light. Condition
- Crystal: Very good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or restoration. The crystal has retained all of its original transparency and resonance.
- Gilding: Overall in fine condition. As these are antique and authentic pieces, slight signs of wear on the gilding may be visible in places, attesting to their age and handcrafted nature.
