19th-century Bauche Safe
Beautiful safe, late 19th century, made of brushed steel. Brass plate engraved with “Système BAUCHE Bté S.G.D.G./ G&H BAUCHE REIMS.” Fire-resistant model, adorned with salamanders, symbols of fire. It opens with one keyhole and a combination lock. The main door features a central keyhole concealed beneath a removable cast-iron cover. The combination is set using four brass dials, which allow you to enter a multi-letter secret code. It can be changed on the back of the door using the third key. The lock is also equipped with a system that allows you to bypass the combination lock and use the lock simply with the key. We can provide you with a tutorial explaining how it works. The interior is painted red and includes one shelf. There is also another compartment at the bottom of the safe that locks with a key.
