Louis XV Wardrobe, Made Of Walnut, 18th-century
Louis XV Walnut Cabinet – 18th Century
A very beautiful Louis XV walnut cabinet from the 18th century, featuring an elegant two-door front and exquisite proportions.
The doors consist of large molded and scrolled panels, forming graceful curves and counter-curves characteristic of the Louis XV style. The sculpted scrollwork punctuating the moldings lends the piece great elegance.
The front is adorned with long, antique cut-iron lock plates, which are particularly decorative.
The lower section features a generously scrolled crossbar resting on equally ornate legs. A substantial molded cornice crowns the piece.
The walnut has a beautiful, warm, and luminous patina, with panels displaying particularly attractive grain patterns.
The interior offers ample storage space with several shelves.
A beautiful 18th-century regional Louis XV cabinet, remarkable for the balance of its proportions, the quality of its walnut, and the elegance of its scroll-cut panels.
