With Italian-style extension leaves concealed beneath the tabletopat each end.
Note that this table features inscriptions carvedinto the wood showing the date 1731 and engraved initials, typical ofearly 18th-century joinery and markings, as well aswrought-iron hardware. (photos attached)
It stands on four baluster-shaped legs connected by anH-shaped crossbar,
