It features, throughout, rich gilded and chiseled bronze decoration,
It opens to reveal three large drawers, withdrop-down handles decorated with foliage, flowers, and clusters of fruit, and a lock plate with foliage motifs,
a brass trim on the top drawer,
The side panels are adorned with an elaborate cascade of bronzefoliage, surmounted on each side by the head of a male figure on one side and a female figure on the other.
The entire piece rests on curved legs,
and is topped with a slab of veined white marble,
