Large Art Nouveau-style Rose-patterned Cabinet-sized Frame
The distinctive Art Nouveau style, inspired by nature, is represented here by undulating stems in stylized curves that frame a rose and leaves. This is rendered in a combination of gold and silver-toned metal, typical of this type of frame from the turn of the last century. The glass is slightly beveled and has a small chip on the left that does not affect its appearance. Its large cabinet size is very unusual for this type of frame.
