Like a church stained glass window, it is very likely that this Art Nouveau frame is the work of a good sister or brother of some convent or monastery and sold with religious imagery. In embossed brass with a plant decoration that surrounds the opening for the photo (8 × 13), the back foot is made in a somewhat rudimentary way but works very well however.
