Polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting a Geisha in traditional Japanese dress, wearing a blue kimono, a wide gilt obi belt and an elaborate traditional hairstyle. The figure is depicted standing, with her arms slightly extended, and rests on a decorated base.
Produced by the Viennese Goldscheider manufactory between the late 19th and early 20th century. The reverse bears the “GOLDSCHEIDER WIEN” mark, accompanied by the inscription “VERVIELFÄLTIGUNG VORBEHALTEN” and the number 7.
