Louis XV-style Coffee Table, 18th Century.
A rectangular coffee table with all sides made of solid cherry wood, resting on four curved legs decorated with carvings at their tops and ending in equally carved bull’s-foot feet.
This table features a drawer set into the apron, with a beautifully carved front panel that is cut in the same style as the three apron crossbars.
This drawer is fitted with a skeleton lock with a key that works perfectly and features a lock plate with a pull ring (the entire assembly is period).
The table is topped with a “campan rubané” marble slab, carved and molded with a corbin spout and a groove running around its perimeter. (The marble is in perfect condition.)
The table is in perfect condition and is entirely from the mid-18th-century Louis XV period.
