Elegant small writing desk made of solid walnut, Napoleon III style, circa the mid-19th century.

This lovely piece features a rectangular top with flowing contours, accented by molded trim and resting on an elegantly curved apron. The front opens to reveal a large drawer, adorned with patinated bronze handles.

The slightly curved sides harmoniously complement the shape of the top. The piece rests on four turned legs, joined by a beautiful low, scroll-carved crossbar, lending the desk great elegance and stability.
