Jfa Monogrammed Beachwear
Two-panel doll's screen painted with two seaside views. One of the panels bears the monogram "JFA" in the bottom right corner, with the letters intertwined. Both panels are cracked due to poor carpentry in the screen’s construction; they are nailed to the screen’s frame. The screen was likely created in two stages: a mass-produced doll’s screen decorated by a painter close to the child for whom it was intended.
The paintings likely date from the early 20th century. The painted panels measure 22.2 x 16.5 cm.
