A very beautiful slip-cast planter attributed to Thomas Sergent,
Featuring coiled handles ending in swan heads,
With a marbled and lustrous decoration of relief mascarons holding garlands, fluted collar,
ivy friezes on the base,
Unmarked, but entirely characteristic of Thomas Sergent’s work,
In good overall condition; however, there are small chips on the edges of the handles and signs of wear on the tops
of the swan heads.
