Napoleon III Green Glass Jardinière With Neo-classical Bronze Mount
A table planter (or centrepiece) in an oblong rectangular shape, made of green-tinted glass, set within a patinated bronze frame with openwork detailing in a neoclassical style, featuring in the centre a bas-relief depicting an ancient chariot drawn by horses, framed by baluster motifs and geometric friezes. It is fitted with two geometric side handles and rests on small claw feet and a central architectural base.
