Pair Of Electrified Oil Lamps Made Of Painted Opaline Glass – 19th Century

Pair of electrified oil lamps made of painted opaline glass – 19th century

An elegant pair of oil lamps that were converted to electricity, featuring white opaline reservoirs finely painted with polychrome decorations of bouquets of flowers, foliage, and gallant scenes in the 18th-century style.

The lamps are adorned with rich gilded bronze mountings, including the bases, rings, and original burners. They are topped with their acid-etched frosted glass globes, adorned with a delicate floral design, casting a soft and warm light.

The painted decoration, in shades of blue, green, and ochre, evokes the high-quality pieces of the late 19th century, while the finely chiseled bronze mounts highlight their classic elegance.

Electrified for contemporary use, they will retain all their charm in a living room, bedroom, or office, blending seamlessly into both classic interiors and more eclectic decor.

Please note: one of the lamps has a previous restoration at the base, visible up close but solid and does not affect either the overall appearance or its use.
