Empire-style desk inkwell made of green crystal or glass, with a solid silver mount (hallmarked "Minerve") featuring featuring an imperial eagle, a laurel wreath, an ancient chariot, and delicate stylized friezes of palmettes and vine leaves; the top of the lid is engraved with a count’s crown; 19th-century.
