Gilt Bronze Directoire-style Column Portico Clock With Artemis Greyhounds, Late 18th Century
A Directoire-style gilt bronze portico clock with columns, finely chased, decorated with two greyhounds standing on the dial. Above, a trophy with a bovine head within a garland; below, a wide openwork drapery. On the base, the face of the goddess Artemis with oak branches. Tortoise-shaped pendulum. Late 18th-early 19th century. This clock is in very good condition and of superb quality. It has been serviced and is in perfect working order.
