Elegant wooden cabinet painted in shades of gray-beige, France, 18th century.
The cabinet features a two-door front embellished with deeply molded, mixed-line paneling and rich floral motifs. The heavily sculpted and contoured crown is adorned in the center with a finely carved basket of flowers, from which tendrils, leaves, and small flowers branch out and extend along the cornice. It features a lower band with an elegant contoured profile and curved, scroll-shaped legs.
