Art Deco Dining Table

Galerie Georgette Art Deco presents an Art Deco dining table. This table, crafted from light cherry wood, also includes six chairs of the same design. The tabletop features a checkerboard pattern. The table rests on two trapezoidal legs connected by a horizontal crossbar carved with rounded grooves. With its shape, light patina, checkerboard pattern, and decorative motifs, this table is exceptionally elegant. The six chairs are a matching set and feature the same design as the table. Note the two drawers at the ends of the table, which contribute to the set’s aesthetic appeal while also serving a practical purpose. When pulled out, these two drawers provide space to store an extension leaf at each end. The extension leaves are in perfect condition but are not visible in the photos. The table, with its extension leaves, measures up to 2.44 meters. This set has been restored by our workshop and is therefore in good condition and fully functional. Three tiles in the checkerboard pattern had to be reworked, and only the top of one chair is slightly damaged (see photo). This Art Deco set is on display at our store in Toucy, 89130.
