In late summer 1913, the trio of Suzanne Valadon, Maurice Utrillo, and André Utter traveled to Corsica and spent several months in Corte and Belgodère. Utter painted landscapes, including “Bridge in the Countryside” and “Portrait of Valadon Combing Her Hair,” both housed at the Petit Palais Museum in Geneva, as well as his “Self-Portrait,” housed at the Sannois Museum.
