Crafted from steam-bent beech wood with a dark stain finish, it is made in accordance with the technical and aesthetic characteristics of the famous Viennese bentwood furniture tradition. Its simple and elegant design, combined with its high-quality construction, makes it a significant example of late 19th-century Thonet craftsmanship. Austria, circa 1890.
