Ferdinand Edouard Ernest Mifliez, known as Misti (1865–1922), was a French painter, poster artist, lithographer, and illustrator. Misti is best known today for his numerous posters. His work appears in two issues of the magazine launched by Jules Chéret, *Les Maîtres de l’affiche*: *Cycles Gladiator* (1895) and *La Critique* (1896). Chéret also had some of Misti’s early lithographic works printed (by Chaix et associés) before Misti opened his own studio in 1894.
