Alphose Giroux 19th-century Hexagonal Magic Lantern
This hexagonal lampascope by Alphonse Giroux is made of cardboard covered with paper. It was mounted on a household kerosene lamp to serve as a magic lantern.
The wooden part and the wire were added later. The entire piece dates from the 19th century.
We have the box; the top chimney is missing. Please note that the paper is missing in places, and the cardboard is damaged.
