Hispano-moorish Earthenware Dish With A Central Indentation, Seville, Late 15th Or Early 16th Century
Round dish with a barely noticeable center indentation, made of earthenware with a metallic sheen featuring yellow lustre and blue pigment; the center is decorated with a five-petaled flower surrounded by a blue border between bands of lustre, followed by a pseudo-epigraphic band; on the rim, a background of flower buds alternating with solfas, large three-lobed leaves in relief alternating with six simple leaves.
On the reverse, numerous concentric circles. Original hanging hole.
