Pair of metal trictrac candlesticks, well-plated silver with mercury, in fairly good condition; the original plating shows some wear. and they need to be better cleaned.
Each consists of 3 pieces: a square-sections pike with 2 antique screw threads, a cast Binet base with a ring, and arectangular bobèche with cut corners.
18th-century candlesticks. I don’t need to tell you that they’re hard to find.... Nowadays, you only find re-casts or recent copies.
