Marie-Pierre Vidal-Saisset has been passionate about art in general and painting in particular since her earliest years.

"I had wonderful parents who understood my passion and did everything they could to help me pursue it," explains Marie-Pierre. After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse in 1953, where she won a first prize in drawing, she turned her passion into her profession. While she began with wall ceramics, the majority of her work consists of paintings and sculptures. She
exhibits throughout France and abroad (Germany,
Andorra, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, the United States, Senegal, etc.). One of
her sculptures was even presented to the Élysée Palace by the Andorran government.

For
her sculptures, Marie-Pierre uses a variety of materials, including several metals and
wood, which she mixes with ceramics. "It's a joyful profession, a
passion that has brought me great joy and sometimes difficult moments. It
has allowed me to meet famous people, great artists, but above all
wonderful people from all walks of life."
