Large 17th-century Baroque Wooden Sculpture Of A Putto Cherub, Altarpiece Element
Largewooden sculpture depicting a chubby cherub or putto with curly hair, seated on a column and holding the drapery of his garment in his hands; a decorative element from a Baroque-style altarpiece, dating from the 17th century.
This sculpture is in good overall condition and of superb quality. The column base is a later addition (19th century) and has been adapted for the cherub; the figure moves slightly on it.
