First Half Of The 20th Century Painting Of A Child By Natale Bencini

Elegant oil painting on canvas, embellished with a carved and gilded wooden frame and completed with a white fabric mat. The painting depicts an interior scene, witha child dressed in period clothing sitting on the floor and playing with a ballin the foreground. A plant can be seen around him, while red curtains can be glimpsed in the background. This is a work of great taste and refinement, appreciated for its color and detail, capable of adding a touch of class to anyspace. At the bottom left is the signature "N. Bencini" and the date October 1929. The painting is by the celebrated Tuscan painter Natale Bencini (1902-1973), whose style was initially influenced by the Macchiaioli movement, as in this work, before evolving towards Tonalism. Tuscan manufacture from the first half of the 20th century.
