Our painting is a perfect distillation of the work of Alfred Benoît Caillaud, whose talent is every bit as great as that of his most illustrious contemporaries.
Moreover, when you admire it, can you not see the influence or the touch of a Manet (Édouard Manet, 1832–1883) or a Fantin-Latour (Henri-Théodore Fantin-Latour, 1836–1904)?
Beautiful period wooden frame with gilded stucco (a few minor imperfections along the edges of the frame). Good condition.
3,800 euros.
