Charming desk in a kidney or bean shape, made of mahogany and mahogany veneer in the Louis XVI style.
Dated to the 20th century.
The top is slightly concave at the front to conform to the shape of the seated person.
Height below the waistline: 62 cm.
The top is upholstered in red faux leather that was recently replaced.
It is framed by a wide border of mahogany veneer with a satin-like grain.
The front features two arched drawers, each fitted with hanging ring pulls made of patinated brass.
It rests on four tapered, fluted legs with rings, ending in slight spindles topped by connecting blocks carved with vertical fluting.
Its compact size is ideal for bedrooms or small spaces.
