The front is adorned with a large, finely chiseled gilt-bronze appliqué depicting Ceres on her chariot, flanked by putti and a winged lion. The connecting blocks are adorned with antique figures in gilded bronze, while the bands around the columns emphasize the architectural elegance of the piece.
