Manufactured by Molteni, Giussano, Italy, until approximately 1979.
A classic Italian Space Age design, featuring a sculptural body made of black ABS plastic, resting on a high-end base made of chrome-plated steel tubing.
The desk is complete and features all of its original components:
- Original chrome corner lamp, fully functional
- Lift-up clear glass top, in very good condition
- Original footrest with non-slip rubber surface, a rare and well-preserved feature
With its three storage compartments and four bookends, the Orix desk is both a functional workspace and a design classic worthy of a collector’s collection.
