Wooden Helmet - Ground Floor
A heavy, hardwood helmet with a dark patina and pigment highlights
depicting a zoomorphic face with four pairs of star-shaped eyes set within
circles with four-part polychrome decoration, reminiscent of an owl. It is topped
by four spikes with cord. A series of small holes added for
vision. Wear and tear, small cracks. Ref. 298 - 523041.
