Handle covered in stingray skin with a watermark. Gilded brass mountings, four-pronged
guard, and a shell bearing the arms of France.
. Quillon double-hallmarked.
Curved blade with a flat back engraved “Manufacture Rle du Klingenthal October 1814” and concave
sides engraved with trophies of arms, fleurs-de-lis, the arms of France, and “GARDES DU CORPS DU
ROI”
Steel scabbard with brass fittings.
