Very Large Horizontal Photo Frame For A Collage, Wedding Photos, Etc.—late 19th Century
This photo frame features a very large and unusual format and is designed to be displayed horizontally. It’s possible that it was originally a collage frame; however, when it was acquired, it contained an old, large, and very charming wedding group photo. It is made of mahogany with various gilded bronze accents in the Empire style; the back is made of cardboard; it can be placed on a surface or hung on the wall, and it includes its protective glass.
