A double-shelf lectern resting on a tripod base with a fluted shaft carved with a garland of flowers—a feature that is rarely seen. Its two articulated arms are fitted with candlesticks made of bronze that was once gilded.
In the Louis XVI style, it dates from the mid-19th century, around 1860. Please note that the lectern has been refinished with several thick coats of varnish and is not height-adjustable. The bottom of the desk is 75 cm from the floor.
