"Frigate HMS Majesty's Ship Amelia"
was a 38-gun Hébé-class frigate of the French Navy, built
in Brest in 1782.
She was renamed by the Royal Navy after her
capture that same year by HMS Dryad off Cape Clear in
Ireland. She served under the British flag until 1811.
Watercolor signed and titled in the lower right corner.
