Bronze sculpture with a brown patina depicting a young woman, a “Colombina” character from the Commedia dell’Arte, with a low-cut neckline and a ribbon bow tied at the back of her waistband; she wears a bicorne hat and holds a mask in her hand. This bronze bears the signature “sur la terrasse d’Allouard” for Henri Emile Allouard (1844–1929), along with the foundry mark of Colin in Paris. The bronze features a lovely period patina dating from around 1900.
