Knife length: 14.5 cm
A knife with a straight, single-edged blade; the tang is carved from a section of reindeer antler, formerly engraved with letters or symbols which have become illegible over time. Its sheath is made from two slightly curved birchwood strips, tapering at the ends – a characteristic feature of this culture.
They are joined together using four copper and brass rivets. On one side, the decoration features the name of its former owner cut out in openwork; on the other, it bears the date ‘1921’, accompanied by a leafy branch in openwork.
