Bronze Hunting Dagger - "atlas With A Boar's Head" - 19th Century - With Sheath

A rare hunting dagger with a solid bronze quillon hilt, entirely gilded and chiseled, depicting the bust of Atlas carrying a wild boar’s carcass and head. Early 19th century.
Two decorated side panels: one depicting a dog attacking a wild boar, and the other featuring hunting motifs.
Straight Damascus steel blade, double-edged, with two hollow panels and a central ridge, engraved and gilded, set within cartouches depicting scenes of hunters chasing a hare and a hunter chasing a deer pursued by dogs, along with hunting attributes such as flags, spears, etc....
Scabbard covered in brown leather (note: a section of leather is missing from the lower part of the scabbard), with two chiseled and gilded brass fittings.
Pommel with a long hook decorated with a lion’s muzzle, and pommel knobs with palmette motifs.
