An antique gilded and carved wooden frame of Florentine origin dating from the early 19th century.

The frame is rectangular in shape and features a symmetrical design with respect to the central and horizontal axes.

The outer perimeter is highly dynamic and jagged, shaped by the curvilinear lines of the friezes and protruding carvings.

The entire surface is dominated by dense carvings of a plant motif featuring acanthus leaves alternating with racemes and flowers.
