Late 19th Century Brass Sousaphone
Refined and unique handmade brass sousaphone. This instrument is a type of bass tuba, generally used in marching bands due to its lightness and practicality. The sousaphone features a conical bore with three valves and a wide, forward-facing bell. The mouthpiece is missing. This is an object of great taste and refinement, capable of lending a touch of antiquity and elegance to any setting. Italian manufacture from the late 19th century.
