Antique Inkwell With Built-in Clock, Made Of Gilded Bronze And Onyx, 19th Century
Antique inkwell with a built-in clock, made of gilded bronze and onyx, dating from the Napoleon III period in the second half of the 19th century.
The main structure is made of onyx resting on bronze cushion-shaped feet, surmounted by an amphora with a clock in the center.
On either side of the clock are two rampant lions with their front paws raised, while their other paws hold a scroll in place.
